He was predeceased by: his wife Ann; his parents, Wouter Konink and Johanna Konink; his siblings, Dirk (late Toos), Gerry Slykhuis (late Dries), Lammert (late Eve), Riek Dorland (late Bart), John (Els), Herman (late Coby) and William; and his brother-in-law Bernard Warner (late Nancy).
He is survived by: his children, James (Brigitte), Cathy (Dan Lortie) and Ken; his grandchildren, Jordan (Melanie), Rebekah (Christian), Bethany, Evan, Ian (Jenny), Mathieu, Justin, Ethan and Connor; his great grandchildren, Isla, Chase and Johanna Grace; his brothers, Peter (Catherine), Gerrit (Cecillia) and Lawrence (Nancy); and his siblings-in-law, Pat Jamieson and Judi Langevin (Serge).
In lieu of flowers, donations to Cornwall Hospice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
