We bid farewell to Wayne McGlynn (Cornwall, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 3, 2025 at the age of 84. Wayne touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his daughter Shana McGlynn; his parents, Vincent McGlynn and Stella McGlynn; and his siblings, Sheila Hagan (Harold) and Terry McGlynn (Deanie).
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia McGlynn; his children, Leslie Steele (Stephen) and Marla Currier (Leo); his grandchildren, Amelia Currier, Lucas Gelinas and Logan Currier; his siblings, Cheryl Yates (Butch), Michael (Shirley), Patrick (Helene) and Robert (late Linda); and his sister-in-law Lorraine Bowes. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Wilson Funeral Home (822 Pitt St, Cornwall, ON K6J3S2). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations in Wayne's memory to St. Joseph's Continuing Care Center or to Carefor Cornwall Hospice.
