He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Hanes and Dorothea Hanes. He is survived by: his wife Louise Hebert Hanes; his daughters, Jessica Hanes and Angela Hanes; his grandchildren, Jacob, Alex, Justin, Ciara and Liam; his great grandchild Cashton; his sisters, Judy Hanes and Linda Hanes; and his siblings-in-law, Claude Hebert, Bob, Kim Hebert, Peggy, Raymond Gagne, Liz and Lorne Belmore.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home (822 Pitt St, Cornwall, ON K6J3S2). A prayer will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
