He was predeceased by: his parents, John Shield and Doris Shield; and his sister Isabelle Wilson (late Fred). He is survived by: his grandchildren, Alexandra (Sean McCallum) and Darren; and his close friend Gale McCallum.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Lahaie and Sullivan Funeral Home West Branch (20 Seventh St W, Cornwall, ON K6J 2X7).
