He was predeceased by : his parents, Roy Blain and Beverly "Marlene" Blain; and his brother Ted Blain. He is survived by : his wife Glenda Leitch-Blain; his children, Dennis Blain (Portia), Brittny Blain (Mike), Candice Blain (Anthony) and Matthew Leitch-Blain (Anna); his sister Darlene Blain Fraleigh Favetta (Joe); and his grandchildren, Kiera Blain, Ava Blain, Alexa Blain and Lincoln Vandenbroek. He is also survived by his brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, his cousins, nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests to send donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Canada.
