He was predeceased by : his parents, Jack Thompson and Rose Thompson. He is survived by : his spouse Trish; his children, Aaron and Alicia (Jeremy Zavitz); and his brothers, Mike (Trish) and Wayne (Allison).

A funeral service was held on Friday, February 12th 2021 at 1:30 PM at the Livestream Funeral Service.
