It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Irma Mildred Muir (Courtice, Ontario), who passed away on December 27, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Alexander Muir (Sandy); her parents, Norman Metcalf and Hazel Metcalf; and her brothers, Alvin and Harvey.

She is survived by : her children, Barbara Goodin (Lyle), Alex (Lana) and James (Lee-Ann); her grandchildren, Heather (Gilles), Nathan, Tyler (Breanne), Jennifer (Quinton), Jason (Alison), Stephen and Lyndsey (Mike); her great grandchildren, Luke, Sara, Gage, Easton, Sierra, Savannah, Piper, Miller, Archer and Teagan; and her sibling Jean Jeffrey. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to Ebenezer United Church or Bowmanville Hospital Foundation.
