Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved José Salinas of Courtice, Ontario, who passed away at the age of 103, on September 20, 2025. He was predeceased by: his spouses, María Cristina Pastora and Aura Argentina Barquero; and his daughter Gloria. He is survived by: his children, Mercedes, Ramón, Patricia, Lorena, Eleonora, Marcia, José A., Vida C., Claudia, Carmen, Adriana and Gabriela. He is also survived by his 32 grandchildren, and the many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the W. C. Town Funeral Chapel (110 Dundas St E, Whitby, ON L1N2H7). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Parish (903 Giffard St, Whitby, ON L1N2S3). A burial was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the York Cemetery (160 Beecroft Rd, North York, ON M2N5Z5).
