She is survived by : her husband Ted; her children, Sandra Phillips (Bob), Darlene Sasseville (Harvey), Diane Benschop (Len) and Matthew (Andrina Matthie); her grandchildren, Danielle (Kevin), Jenna, Tristan, Ashtyn, Spencer, Hunter, Conner, Iyla and Tieje; her siblings, Hilda Reinsma (Sidney), Ralph Stoffers (Norma), Christine Merkley (Don), Harry Stoffers, Jake Stoffers (late Loretta) and Betty Luchies; and her brother-in-law Mike Luchies (Jackie). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

“My condolences Ted to you and your family on the passing of Marie. I have many fond memories of Marie when she and my sister Alberta (when they were in their teens) would get together at our house on Sundays after church, she was like my other big sister. She also made me feel welcomed the few years we lived in Oshawa. May God give you strength and healing during this difficult time. My thoughts are with Hennie Schoon(Stoker)”
