She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret MacDonnell and Angus A. MacDonnell; and her brothers, Hugh MacDonnell, John Leo MacDonnell and Allan MacDonnell.
She is survived by: her spouse Blaise MacDonell; her children, Carmel (Ed), Paul (Lynn), Margaret (David) and David (Joan); her grandchildren, Jenna, Shelby, Lauren, Rachel, Ethan, Cameron, Abby and Blaise; and her great grandchild Griffin.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Courtice Funeral Chapel (1587 Durham Regional Hwy 2, Courtice, ON L1E2R7). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Therese Catholic Church (3800 Courtice Rd, Courtice, ON L1E2L5).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to The Canadian Cancer Society, in her memory.
