She was predeceased by: her daughter Penny Smith; her siblings, Bill Gilfillan, Jean Mahar (Jack), Grant Gilfillan and Barb Regier (Larry); Ralph Smith (Veda), Edward Smith (Shirley), Leonard Smith (Anne) and Don Smith (Donna).

She is survived by: her husband Harvey; and her sister-in-law Grace Gilfillan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
