He was predeceased by : his parents, Annie Mae and Raymond Hornsby (Patricia Cain Hornsby); and his siblings, Ken, Alex, Marilyn, Bill and Ted.

He is survived by : his siblings, Jean (late Lawrence Montgomery), Pat (Jack Muller), Audrey (late Al Nelson), Robert (Emma), Linda (Ken Baverstock) and Don (Margaret); and his stepsons, Daniel and Douglas Beaverstock. He is also survived by his many family members, friends, neighbours and co-workers.
