He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Verstraten and Diny Verstraten; and his parents-in-law, John and Lynne Grant. He is survived by: his wife Anita; his siblings, Ron Verstraten and Brenda David (Kevin); his mother-in-law Joan Grant; and his siblings-in-law, Steven Grant (Vicky), Mary Maika, Abby Galloway (Shawn) and Carey Wake (Chris). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
