She was predeceased by: her husband Ken; her parents, William Newton and Alberta McIlwain; and her siblings, Eileen McNaughton-Elmer, Enid McNaughton-Clifford, Ray Newton and Keith Newton-Tootsie.
She is survived by: her children, Heather, Darren (Celine) and Wayne (Nancy); her grandchildren, Robin, Shawna, Kate, Cedric and Eleanore; and her sister-in-law Pauline. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
