He was predeceased by : his wife Josephine Martina Dietrich (Eugelink); his daughter Pauline Dietrich (Anthony Dietrich); his parents, Noah Dietrich and Christina Dietrich (Foster); and his siblings, Benny (Mary Dietrich), Anna Dietrich (Dominica), Eugene (Mary Dietrich), Louis Dietrich, Rita Dietrich (Rita), Mary Dietrich, Hubert (Joan Dietrich), Martina (Joe Glavin), Bertha (Wim Zweers), Dinie (Jos Kobesen), Ted Giesen, Wim Eugelink and Harry Eugelink (Tony Lukassen).
He is survived by : his children, Alice Dietrich (Paul Curwen), Irene (Rob Tait), Dennis (Jackie Dietrich) and Rosanne (Jamie Tomes); his grandchildren, James, William Curwen, Adam, Charlie, Martina, Hannah Tait, Kristie (Jordan Hansen), Sara, Emma Dietrich, Owen and Gracie Tomes; and his siblings-in-law, Annie Giesen of London, Hein, Greet Eugelink, Mientje Lukassen, Jan, Jannie Eugelink and Marietje Eugelink. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews.
If desired, memorial donations (payable directly to the charity) to South Huron Hospital Foundation or Jessica's House Residential Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
