He is survived by : his parents, Jean Schade (Dave Storey) and Michael Beale; his sisters, Meghan Beale (Colin Cook) and Jackie Beale (Ben Widmeyer); his nieces, Olive Murray and Vaughn Cook; his nephew Alex Cook; and his friends, May Zhang and Alberta. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins.

Donations in honour of Danny may be made to Edmonton's Food Bank or the Deep River and Area Food Bank.

“I am very sorry to hear of Danny's passing. I was his Media Arts teacher at Mackenzie High School. Condolences & prayers. I'm wondering if you might be able to send me a good portrait photo of Danny's aunt, Jane Beale. I wrote a Requiem woodwind quintet in her memory when she passed in 1976 or 77.
