He was predeceased by : his wife Pat Dixon; his stepdaughter Sheila; his parents, Lorna Kathleen Jameus and George Benedict; his stepfather Daniel Jameus; his siblings, Judy Stieh and Michael Jameus; his siblings-in-law, David Stieh, John Gary Gold and Beverly Benedict; and his nephew Joseph Lamb.

He is survived by : his former life partner Beverley Hetherington; his daughters, Dawn Christopoulos (Nick) and Darla Bureau (Claude); his grandsons, George (Nikki), David, Alex, Brendan (Danielle) and Corey (Madison); his great grandchild Jackson Robert Bureau; his stepchildren, Deborah, Ruth (Eric), Fiona (Jack), David (Claudia) and Maureen; his stepgrandchildren, Sarah (Matt), Jess, Dav (Melanie), Aysha, Max, Hannah and Zack; his stepgreat-grandson Kegan; his siblings, Gary Benedict, Cathy Lamb (Robert), Lorne Jameus (Dorothy), Margaret Jameus and Kim Jameus Diotte; his sister-in-law Betty LeFave (Paul); his nieces and nephews, Laurie, Kevin and Debbie; his parents-in-law, Earl Hetherington and Cora Hetherington; his friend Orville Williamson; his brother-in-law Bill Hetherington; his pet Squeak; and his close friend Bruce MacLennan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
