She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Gordon and Mary Stephen; her husband Donald Arthur Bird; and her sisters, Margaret Bowers and Florence Corless.
She is survived by: her children, Valoree (Wayne Grolla) of Prince Albert and Stephen (Claire Steer) of Deep River; her grandchildren, Jacqui Bird, Paula Spence (Roydon), Alanna Bird, Stephen Bird Jr., James Yates, Ava Yates, Brock Grolla (Jamie) and Brad Grolla (Michelle); and her caregiver Tina.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Deep River Community Church (115 Deep River Rd, Deep River, ON K0J1P0).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Deep River & District Health Foundation would be gratefully appreciated.
