She was predeceased by: her husband Daniel Maves; her parents, Bradley Shields and Frieda Shields; and her siblings, Elvira Masson and Barry Shields Renfrew (Greta).
She is survived by: her children, Evangeline Coburn Pembroke (Allan) and Mark Maves Oshawa (Rose); her grandchildren, Meagan Pelletier, Gatineau, Benjamin Coburn and Jonathan Maves Lethbridge (Elesia); her great grandchildren, Colette, Hunter and Moriah; and her siblings, Elwood Shields Lively (Sonja), Donalda Tubman Carleton Place (late Cliff), Armelda Maves Pembroke (late Art), Catherine Shields, Lake Dore, Colleen Edwards Pembroke (Larry), Boyd Shields and Mervin Shields. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Valley Funeral Home (33337 Hwy 17, Deep River, ON K0J). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Real Hope Christian Assembly (33019 ON-17, Deep River, ON K0J1P0).
