Jacquelynn Dianne Slater Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jacquelynn Dianne Slater (Deep River, Ontario), who passed away on April 26, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruce Smith and Jean Smith (Jane); and her sister Carol Young. She is survived by: her husband Bill Slater of Deep River; her children, Tracy Slater (Brian Morassutti) of Owen Sound, Sharlene Daigle (Julien) of Ottawa and Scott Slater (Danielle) of Airdrie, Alberta.; her grandchildren, Teagan, Dominic, Anthony Morassutti, Eve, Malcolm Daigle, John and Katherine Slater; her sister Jayne Smith Chapman; and her friends, Elaine, Clarence, Carol Ann, Jim, Anne, Jacquie and Bill.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Valley Funeral Home (33337 Hwy 17, Deep River, ON K0J1P0). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Valley Funeral Home (33337 Hwy 17, Deep River, ON K0J1P0).
