He was predeceased by : his father James Arkles Sr. of Pembroke. He is survived by : his wife Kathy Arkles; his children, Bradley Arkles of Chalk River and Jessica Arkles (Steve Cherrin) of Petawawa; his mother Nancy Arkles; and his sister Janice Beyore (Joe Pascoe) of Coburg.

In memoriam donations to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute or the Diabetes Association would be gratefully appreciated.
