He was predeceased by: his parents, William Arthur and Eva Bond; his siblings, David Bond and Gail Taylor; and his father-in-law Walter Harding.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Bond; his children, Sarah (Denis) of Deep River, Carrie (Trevor) of Deep River, Elizabeth (Chris) of Deep River and Matthew (Meghan) of Deep River; his grandchildren, Nathan, Abby, Kiera, Millie, Laney, Ethan and Maren; and his mother-in-law Margaret.
