Joan Walsh Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Walsh (Deep River, Ontario), who passed away on April 21, 2026 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Desmond Walsh; her sisters, Maureen Watters (Gerry) and Marjorie Tobin; and her brother-in-law Hugh Walsh. She is survived by: her children, Maureen Johnson (Dave), Greg (Gini), Jim (Lisa), Karen Hall (Phil), Pat (Chris), Joe (Sandra), John (Tammy) and Mary McCallan (John); her brother Patrick Tobin (Anne); and her sister-in-law Mary McKeiver (George).

Visitation was held on Monday, April 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Valley Funeral Home (33337 Hwy 17, Deep River, ON K0J). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church (33110 ON-17, Deep River, ON K0J 1P0).
