In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Marlene had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Marlene may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dick Mansell and Helen Mansell (McNeill); and her brother Bill. She is survived by: her husband Jim Gibson of Stonecliffe; her children, Bill Gibson (Erin) of North Bay and Kathryn Robinson (Courtney) of Ottawa; and her grandchildren, Nathan, Julia Robinson and Jonas Gibson.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Deep River Public Library.
