It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Maurice Rainville of Deep River, Ontario, born in Bonfield, Ontario, who passed away on October 19, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parent Ovila Rainville; and his siblings, Joseph, George, Victor, Bertha, Louise and Alice.

He is survived by : his wife Irene; his children, Jeannette (Mike) of Port Elgin and Gerry (Cindy) of Port Elgin; his granddaughters, Michelle (Johnny), Alison (Skinny) and Heather; his great grandchildren, Chloe, Aiden, Bronson, Muirrin, Braelyn and Rhett; and his sisters, Rita (Mike) and Therese (late Guy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family.

Maureen (Hoelke) Patterson wrote a sympathy message

“I'm so sorry for your loss. I only knew Mr. Rainville when I was a little kid (he was my godfather, I believe). I do remember smiling brightly upon seeing his cheerful face at the back door whenever he came over to visit; he paid attention to the little kids! He always spread joy when he arrived in a room.
