He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Cathy (Walsh); his daughters, Wendy (Rod White) and Julie; his son-in-law Craig Brunton (Trish Shields); his grandchildren, Tyler and Allyson Brunton; his parents-in-law, Annie (late Stan), Dan (Marsha), Mike (Ruth), Marg (Anita), Sheila (John), Fran and Gail; his parents, Frederick Oscar Moon and Annie Louise Thompson; his half-brother John Thompson Sears; and his friends, Peter, Karen and Larry.

In memoriam donations might be made to the Deep River and District Hospital Foundation or to Parkinson's Canada.
