She was predeceased by: her parents, Morley and Audrey; her siblings, Pat, Bud and Muriel; and her siblings-in-law, Debbie O'Connor, Geraldine Bald (late Bob), Bud Thompson (Marg), Joan Balesdent (late Ed) and Debbie Thompson.
She is survived by: her husband Douglas Thompson; her children, Steven Thompson (Karen) and Lori Lynn Verbeek (Rick); her grandchildren, Nathan Thompson (Tammy), Chesterville, Dalton Verbeek (Ashley), Quinte West, Kaitlin Butler (Brian), Kingston, Erica Glover (Jay) and Mississauga; her great grandchildren, Alyvia, Drake Thompson, Charlie Verbeek, Addilyn, Brynn Butler, Scarlett and Slater Glover; and her siblings-in-law, Mona O'Connor, Rodney Allport (Noella), Marjorie Turcotte (late Wilfred), Lois Harquail (late Lonnie), Armilda Dixon (late Wayne), David Thompson (Jane), Dale Thompson (late Bonnie) and Glenn Thompson (Connie). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and true friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the M. J. Smith and Son Funeral Home (78 Centre St, Deseronto, ON K0K1X0). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
