It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Shayka in Douglas, Ontario, who passed away on July 31, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Michael Shayka to pay them a last tribute.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his close friend Laura Shayka; his granddaughter Alisha Parry (Ryan); his children, Jackson, Fletcher, Noah Shayka, Candace Shayka (Darren MacDonald), Seth, Jeffrey and Calum; his parents, Harry and Helen; his siblings, John Balaban (Jocelyne) and Olga Napper; and his parents-in-law, Roger and Elsie Jacques. He was also cherished by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hope Centre would be appreciated by the family.
