He was predeceased by: his wife Viola; his grandson Gary; his parents, Abraham and Winnifred; and his siblings, Bernard (Bernice), Milton, Robert (Hedley), Eileen (Doug), Claire (Dennis) and Vincent (Vivian).

He is survived by: his children, Luanne (Ken Brezenski) and Myles (Cindy O'Bumsawin); his grandchildren, Ryan, Clayton and Crystal; his great grandchildren, Bryce, Ryley, Summer, Brooklyn, Bree-Anna and Nicco; and his brother-in-law Willard Yahnke (Camilla). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
