The passing of Shirley Hancharyk (Dowling, Ontario) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on June 10, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her great grandchild Scarlett; her parents, Mary Devine and William Devine; and her sisters, Irene Hopkins (Robert), Vera Jones (Godfrey) and Evelyn Dobson (John).
She is survived by: her children, Sonia Hancharyk LeBlanc, Bill Hancharyk (Kathy), Walter Hancharyk (Carol), Shirley Ann Kirkey (Dan), Paul Hancharyk (Darlene) and Sheryl Desormeaux (Daniel); her grandchildren, Jennifer (Waseem), Kayla (Brendan), Jeffrey (Ginette), Fallon (Andrew), Logan (Christine), Shane (Heather), Stephanie (Daniel), Addison (Rachel) and Sarah (Kalvin); her great grandchildren, Devin, Jenna, Morgan, Eva, Lily, Holly, Alice, Claire, Lucas, Reid, Isabelle and Alexie; and her son-in-law Guy Leblanc. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Cooperative Funeral Home (4691 Regional Rd 15, Chelmsford, ON P0M1L0). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Stephen the Martyr Church (68 Sturgeon St, Dowling, ON P0M1R0).
