Sophie MacLean Obituary
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Sophie MacLean (Dowling, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Sophie left this world on April 21, 2025 at the age of 95, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Harold MacLean (Red); her parents, Mike Lenkiw and Anna Lenkiw; and her siblings, Mary MacDonald (late Ambrose), Karlo Rudlovich (late Noëlla) and Helen Corkal (late Melvin).
She is survived by: her children, Michael (Diane), Brenda (Richard Bertin), Barbara (Derek Woods) and Sandra (Keith Snow); and her grandchildren, Catherine, Sarah, Tara, Stuart, Ariel, Carrie, Stephanie and Craig. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A burial will be held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Maplecrest Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Michael MacLean Memorial Bursary.
