He was predeceased by: his sister Evelyn; and his siblings-in-law, Erle Thornton of Stratford, Ethelwyn Burnett, Marjorie Schieck, June Burnett, Bill Burnett and Ray Fletcher.

He is survived by: his spouse Frances "Fran" Keena; his children, Kim and Kirby (Gina); his grandchild Remmington "Remy"; his nieces and nephews, Pauline (Dana) of Stratford and Diane (Francis) of Ottawa; and his siblings-in-law, Joy Burnett of Clifford, Karen Burnett of Bancroft, Trudy Burnett of Brockville and Phyllis Fletcher of Drayton.
