She is survived by: her spouse Bert; her grandchildren, Rose, Allan Clemens, Kim and Rob Hobelman; her great grandchildren, Alisa Hesselink, Blaine Hesselink (Megan), Jaiden, Erik, Aubrey, Beth Hesselink and Marlowe; her sister-in-law Trudy Koobs; Jaimi, Jessie, Ben, Jocelyn, Gerald, Alida Hesselink, Cassandra (Gaston Tavecchio), Madisonne (Ben Ruppert) and Jadenne. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Drayton Reformed Church (74 Wellington St S, Drayton, ON N0G1P0). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at the same location.
A Celebration of Maryke's life will be conducted by Pastor Peter Burrill in the Drayton Reformed Church on Tuesday, September 8 th , 2026 at 2:00 p.m. drayton reformed church YouTube – Search Videos As expressions of sympathy donations to Palmerston District Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
