She was predeceased by: her husband Allan Van Ankum; her parents, Guy Miller and Mary Miller (Schieck); her brothers, Roy, John and George Miller; and her siblings-in-law, Jean Van Ankum, George, Alice Van Ankum, John Van Ankum, Hilbert and Janneke Van Ankum.
She is survived by: her children, Anita, Danny Medeiros of Erin, Jeff, Dawn Michelle "Mickie" Van Ankum of Stayner, Corey and Jill Schaefer of London; her grandchildren, Malcolm, Ben Medeiros, Noah, Ava Van Ankum, Justin, Mathew and Cooper Schaefer; her siblings, Phil and Carol Miller of Listowel; and her sisters-in-law, Sonya Van Ankum (Arnold) of Alberta, Jayne Van Ankum (Jake) of Drayton and Marlene Van Ankum of Fergus. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 24th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Drayton Reformed Church (74 Wellington St S, Drayton, ON N0G1P0). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
As expressions of sympathy donation to the Canadian Mental Health Association or Kids Help Phone would be appreciated by the family.
