He was predeceased by: his parents, George and Alma; his former wife Joan (Pegg); his brother-in-law Tim McFadden; and his great-nephew Decker Beatty.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Babula (Coke); his children, Mekayla Assef (Mark), Taylor (Brittany), Devon (Emily) and Justin Wright (Caitlin); his grandchildren, Lucas, Leah, Rhilynn, Ryker, Mason, Van, Dax and Vaughn; and his brothers, Ross (Ellen), Curtis (Heather) and Todd (Darlene).
