He was predeceased by: his parents, Lambertus Roest and Bertha Roest (VanMiltenberg); and his parents-in-law, Jack and Mary DeClerk. He is survived by: his spouse Marg Roest (DeClerk); his children, Angela Roest (Yves Thomas), Chriss Dent (Duane), Karyn Peacock (Andrew) and Steve Roest; his grandchildren, Zoé, Magen, Makayla, Emily, Shelby, Ceirra and Audrey; and his siblings, Joanne Cammaert (Roger), Theresa Zsoldos, John Roest, Mary DeCook (Mike), Bill Roest (Bonnie), Marjorie Wathy (Ron) and Marcel DeClerk (late Marg). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
