With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doreen Marie McNamara of Drumbo, Ontario, who passed away on April 5, 2024. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Doreen Marie McNamara to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her husband Rod McNamara; her parents, Ross Hearns and Olive Hearns (Roth); her brothers, Albert (Barb), Michael and Paul Hearns; and her brother-in-law Jim Kipp.

She is survived by : her children, David, Joyce of Brantford, Lori, Dave Nason of Paris, Deborah, Rick Miller of Woodstock, Gerald, Melanie of Brantford, James, Jenn of Drumbo, Greg and Kari of Wolverton; her siblings, Ricky (Dianne Hearns), Robert (Rose Hearns), Steven, Michelleen Hearns and Margaret Kipp; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Lu Hearns and Darla Hearns. She is also survived by her 17 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Glendinning Funeral Home (40 William St N, Plattsville, ON N0J1S0). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Sakura House, Woodstock would be appreciated by the family. Donations are being accepted for: CANADIAN CANCER SOCIETY - SOCIÉTÉ CANADIENNE DU CANCER (CANADIAN CANCER SOCIETY - SOCIETE CANADIENNE DU CANCER).
