He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Beth Burchill; his children, Dan Burchill (Jen) and Chelsea Smith (Scott); his grandfathers, Malynn, Duncan, Lotte and JJ; his sisters-in-law, Gladys Rock and Laura Campbell (Bill); his niece Christine Slumskie (Drew); his parents, Roy Welton and Anne Welton; and his parents-in-law, Earl and Gwen Roney.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 PM at the Lockhart Funeral Home (109 Montreal St, Mitchell, ON N0K1N0). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
