He was predeceased by: his parents, Fritz and Ida; his brothers, Lothar and Werner; and his brother-in-law Nicholas.
He is survived by: his spouse Kathe; his sons, Fred (Debby), Mike (Darlene) and Jim (Helen); his grandchildren, Nick (Sarah), Matt (Brittany), Gregory (Robyn) and Jenny; and his sisters, Gretal and Helga (Fritz). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
