It is with sadness that the passing of Barbara Ruth (Boden) Hoover (Dundas, Ontario) is shared. Barbara, born on January 3, 1932, passed away on July 21, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Barbara will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honour Barbara by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Barbara is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Barbara’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She is survived by: her husband James Elon Hoover; her children, Jon McWatters (Lynne), Lynn MacLean (Brian) and Cindy Snider (Clayton); and her stepchildren, Debbie Hoover, Marilyn Chapman (Don), Rob Hoover (Mardi) and Heather Stroud (Andy). She is also survived by her 16 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and 8 nieces and nephews.
