She is survived by: her husband Graeme Newbigging; her children, Bill (Kathryn), Ted (Anna), John (Michelle) and Sarah (Larry); her grandchildren, Rachelle (Rich), Jessie (Troy), Graeme (Rachel), Alison (Jeff), Colin (Arleen), Cameron (Trish), Hunter (Megan), Janet (Will), Jake (Tori) and Simon; her great grandchildren, Ivan, Ensley, Jack, Clyde, Gus, Adaline, Shayla and William; and her extended family, Dana Farr (Ryan), Mitch Murphy (Jenna), Nick, Owen and Sophie Coleman.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Barbara's name can be made to Ronald McDonald House South Central Ontario (Hamilton House).
