She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband Gordon; her brother Lawrence Bentley; her sons, Doug (Cindy), Steve (Mary Jane) and Gordon (Laurie); her grandchildren, Michelle (Henrik), Julie (Graeme), Mike (Tammi), Jeff (Jen), Tyler (Jenn), Kody (Cassandra) and Kyle (Carling); her great grandchildren, Annika, Benjamin, Pierce, Hannah, Paige, Macie, Chase, Karsyn, Harper and Hayden; and her mother FaceTime.

Special thanks to Jason for allowing us to see Mom via FaceTime during the Covid lockdowns.

“Hello Doug, Steve, Gord and families I was so sorry to read about Doreen's death. Memories go back to Hemingways's Butcher Shop and of the countless hours spent with the boys on the ice at the Dundas Arena. For Doreen and Gord, family was so important and she must have felt truly blessed to have her sons and their families and so many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
