It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Iva Fern (Patton) Alderson (Dundas, Ontario), who passed away on October 12, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Patton and Gladys Patton; her brother Lloyd Patton (Joyce); and her siblings-in-law, Jean (late Jim) and Bessie.

She is survived by : her husband Howard; her children, Sharon Cable (Alfred), Christine Cahill (John) and Ross Alderson (Debbie); her grandchildren, Stefan Kastenmacher, John Ross Alderson (Stephanie), Patricia Wheeler (Christopher), Charles Alderson (Jesse) and Christopher Alderson (Catherine); her great grandchildren, Norah, Abigail and Hailey; her nieces, Shirley (Adrian) and Linda (Glenn); and her nephew David (Brenda).
