He was predeceased by: his parents, Captain Frank and Margaret Anderson; and his close friend Roly Lusted. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Anderson; his son Robert Anderson (Professor Gabe Reedy); his sister-in-law Linda Larrett; his daughter Margaret Anderson; and his grandson Ollie Anderson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
