She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Smith and Frances Smith; her sister Judy Walker; and her son Mark Auld. She is survived by: her spouse Dallas Auld; her daughter Erin Ariss (Sue); her grandchildren, Kellen Bolger, Caitlyn, Kendalin Bishop, Ethy Auld, Maya and Samuel Ariss; her siblings, Jim Smith (Sue), Lloyd Smith (Libby), Hugh Smith (Brenda), Debbie Moore (Ian) and Darlene Smith; and her godchildren, Mary Lynn Walker and Jackie Haasam.
