He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce and Jessie. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Trevor and Laura; his grandchildren, Jordan, Matthew, Andrew and Adam Nyland; and his siblings, Ken (Lois), Don (Patricia) and Lynn (Cathy).

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Rockton Agricultural Hall.
