He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion and Lawson; and his brother Jim. He is survived by: his wife Marilynn Hayhow; his brother Dean (Heather); his sisters-in-law, Joanne Mascherin (Walter) and Evelyn Black (late Jim); his sibling's children, Leigh Mascherin, Lisa Black, Matthew Mascherin (Tricia) and Christopher Black (Sam); his great-nephews, Connor and Jackson Mascherin; and his nephews, Avery, Logan and Dani Black.

Randy passed at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on March 29, 2023 from complications after contracting Covid.
