Rita (Post) Maxwell Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita (Post) Maxwell (Dundas, Ontario), who passed away on August 6, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Rita is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Rita's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

She was predeceased by: her husband David Maxwell. She is survived by: her family, Jason (Carrie) and Mary-Jane (Warren); her granddaughters, Ciara and Brooke; her close friend Michael Sutton; and her brothers, George (Kathy), Frank (Alma), John and Tom Reape (Diane). She is also survived by her cousins, nieces and nephews, friends.
