She was predeceased by: her daughter Elisa Knol; her husband Arie Knol; her parents, Douwe DeBoer and Johanna Margaretha DeBoer (Brunsveld); and her brothers, Dick DeBoer and Cor DeBoer.
She is survived by: her children, Gerda Smith, Matt Knol (Lillian) and Rein Knol (Maria); and her grandchildren, Sabrina Morgenstern (Marcel), Allison Smith, Brittany Knol (Kyle Jackman) and Jordan Knol (Nikki).
