He was predeceased by: his brother Harry. He is survived by: his wife Heather Groenwold; his children, Anna, Scott (Alana), Andrew (Jaclyn), Breanne and Ryan (Helana); his grandchildren, Luke, Elizabeth, Kiara, Hudson and Lena; his mother Susanna Groenwold; his siblings, Carl, Janet, Maaike, Jane, John, Wilma, Betty and Judy Vandekemp; and his in-laws, JoAnne, Menno Werkman, John, Martha VanMiddelkoop, Cindy VanMiddelkoop-Webber, Lynda, Ted Schouten, Jason, Lynn-Ann VanMiddelkoop, Carmen, Gerald Harke, Rob, Stephanie VanMiddelkoop, Ingrid and Peter Schuller. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
